About me

My artwork is a direct expression of myself and the world around me. From the age of three years old I already knew that I wanted to be an artist. I was born in 1983 in Orsett, England. I had a bohemian upbringing raised by my hippie mother growing up surrounded by artists and musicians. My parents both studied fine art and music. My mother studied as an artist who specialized in sculpture whilst my father was a painter who also made and restored antique furniture. I was influenced and encouraged by them to create my own ideas from a very early age which has inspired me to remain to be creative and develop my own style of artistry throughout the years.

Until I was 14 I focused my artwork almost entirely around drawing. I was obsessed with black ink and would rarely use any other colours in my sketches.  After I finished high school I began a fine art course at college. At this point I began to develop an interest in Graffiti art, which had a large impact on my work as I started to use colours opposed to the black ink I previously worked with. This was also the time when I started to work on canvas. I completed the two year course in the summer of 1999 and then went directly to university. In 2001 at the age of 21 I graduated from the university of Wales with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art specialising in sculpture.

Feel free to take a look around. If you have any question don't hesitate to contact me.
I am available for commissioned pieces on request.
